Dates: 23-28 July 2007

The fourth ACSO Art Show will be held between the 24th and 26th July at the Bus Gallery 117 Little Lonsdale Street, Melbourne. It will be launched at 6-00pm on Monday the 23rd July.

The Show showcases the work of participants from a number of ACSO’s programs, particularly the Disability and Adolescent Program.

“The show is important because the artists have either come into contact with the justice system or are being supported by ACSO to avoid that contact.” said Antony Calabrò, the CEO of ACSO.

“If you take into account the multiple disadvantages of their disability and their background it gives us a valuable insight into their lives and experience” Mr Calabro said.

ACSO is funded by the Victorian government has programs for people who have come into contact with the criminal justice system.
