Anna Varendorff, Benjamin Portas affine approximation

Anna Varendorff’s linea brass objects form an active field for the projection of Benjamin Portas’ stark, roving projected light forms. For this project, Varendorff and Portas have found in a collaborative dialogue an axiom of temporal and spatial adjusting. This conversation has resulted, not in a work of physical collaboration and tailoring of practice, but rather a clash of practices, one layered immediately upon another, which consequentially explode into heightened dynamics of physical space.
