The Power of Women Collective and the Wages for Housework Campaign All Work and No Pay
Dates: Saturday 19 September, 7pmAll Work and No Pay (1976) was made by the Power of Women Collective and the Wages for Housework Campaign. It was broadcast in 1976 as part of the BBCs Open Door series, which provided an important platform for the groups’ demands. The film shows meetings and interviews with women developing campaign strategies, as well as individuals sharing their experiences. Today the Wages for Housework campaign continue their work and activism under the name: the Global Women’s Strike.
