Exhibition:

"Cannot Destroy the World"
Kirstin Berg

Opening: Tuesday 25 February, 6-8pm
Dates: 25 February-15 March 2003

Kirstin Berg is fascinated by random and often brutal forces that occur in nature and how these forces mirror our psychological and physical experience. Her work is powered by conflicting elements of drama, beauty, and foreboding and attempts to unmask universal emotional states that encircle life and death.

Berg’s work has been collected by the National Gallery of Victoria, Parliament House, Canberra and Artbank. She is represented in a number of private collections within Australia, Europe and America.

Berg currently lives and works between Melbourne and Berlin.
