Rasha Tayeh compost : compose
Dates: Saturday 22 March, 2pm
compost : compose is a research-based art project, hosting a series of discussions across various ecologies and geographies. Taking inspiration from soil, artist Rasha Tayeh presents questions and provocations that ask how we can compost old structures, and decompose old ways of thinking, doing and being - and find ways to compose new imaginaries for reparative futures and collective liberation.
Rasha’s ongoing project kicked off last year with workshops hosted at MMAG Foundation (Amman, July 2024), The Wonder Cabinet (Bethlehem, Aug 2024) and a published creative essay for Artlink Magazine (Dec 2024).
Join us for Naarm’s iteration of compost: compose workshop at Bus Projects on Saturday 22nd March at 2pm.
Held at: Bus Projects (Ground Floor, 7 Little Miller Street, Brunswick East, VIC 3057).
Rasha Tayeh is an artist, researcher, herbalist, nutritionist, and founder of Beit e’Shai Teahouse. Her practice is land-based, focusing on telling stories about people’s relationships in community & ecology.
