Bus Projects is seeking applications for the position of Gallery Coordinator & Technician. This is a part-time role of 12 hours per week over two days (between Wednesday – Friday), with some weekend work and after hours as required.
The Gallery Coordinator & Technician works closely with the Artistic Director to administer Bus Projects’ annual artistic program and gallery operations. This hands-on role will coordinate the delivery of a broad range of exhibitions and events, as well as carry out various operational and administrative tasks including gallery maintenance and exhibition install/deinstall.
As a two-person creative team, the Gallery Coordinator & Technician is a key member of Bus Projects. This part-time position would be well suited to an artist or arts worker, and someone looking to gain experience working at one of Australia’s leading artist-led not-for-profit visual arts organisations.
