"Keep It Unreal"
Opening: Wednesday 13 February 6-8pm
Dates: 13 February- 9 March
I make pictures for everybody so they can remember life just how they like it. Maybe it’s crazy, but that’s how I remember everything anyway. I put it all together in front of me and the camera points at it and I work and work and work until everything is just right and then there it is! I look at the photograph and it feels real, the camera is good like that. The colours aren’t real though; they’re just made up, made up from my memory. I don’t mind, it’s just how I want to remember everything anyway. I don’t think about it too much, just enough so I know it’s me in there too, me in the picture.
