"Music Video 5"
Forces, Dead Boomers
Curated by: Harriet Kate Morgan

Opening: Saturday 25 April, 7-10pm
Dates: Saturday 25th April 2015

Melbourne electronic outfit Forces have always approached the balance between electronics and performance in a direct way. In an attempt to achieve more flexibility and expression in a live context without reverting to tried and tested hardware configurations they have begun to develop their own software and to prototype custom pieces of hardware to suit their specific needs. For this instalment of MUSIC-VIDEO Forces will present the first 3 compositions resulting from experimentation with these prototypes.

Dead Boomers is a heavy electronic duo based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Past material has been released on Seattle based Iron Lung Records, Hobart based Cipher Productions and the duos own Sabbatical imprint. Within rhythmic post-industrial blasts the prospect of an aging population dominates ominous narratives, depicting anxious visions of an inescapable tomorrow.

This event is supported by Mountain Goat Beer.
