“But there are times,” said Charlotte, “when it is necessary and an act of friendship to write nothing rather than not to write.”
― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, The Elective Affinities
At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless; Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is, But neither arrest nor movement. And do not call it fixity, Where past and future are gathered.
― TS Eliot, Burnt Norton
I have seen all, I have heard all, I have forgotten all.
― Marie Antoinette
Zoe Jackson (b. 1995) is a multidisciplinary artist living in Melbourne. Her practice explores the metaphysics of aesthetics with a focus on personal ephemera. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) at Monash University in 2020 and the Maumaus Independent Study Programme in 2023.
Lei Lei Kung (b. 1996 Hong Kong) lives and works in Naarm/Melbourne. Her practice employs modes of narrative making and self-mythology through scrutinising her own identity, history and relationships, collecting and restating images from life and mind, over and over again. These manifest through devotion and obsession, in the form of paintings, sculptures, sound and merch.
Pip Lennon is an artist from Melbourne.
Sarah Rosengarten (b. 1992) is an artist living in Berlin.
Maia Taber (b. 1993) is an artist living between Buenos Aires and New York. She believes that to paint is to state and feel at the same time. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Rhode Island School of Design, participated in the Maumaus Independent Study Programme, and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts, Bard College.
Gemma Topliss is an artist from Melbourne.
Emir West is a sound and moving image artist based in New York. In their work, they contort sensory material through processes of attenuation, repetition, and resonance to forge new counter-narratives of the witness. They are the co-founder and curator of Ellipsis screening series and work as a videographer, composer, sound designer, and producer.
Antigone Yannoulidis (b. 2001) is an artist and writer working in Melbourne.
