"The First Bus Projects Edition Exhibition"

Curated by: Drew Pettifer

Opening: Wednesday 25 September, 6-8pm
Dates: 25 September-12 October 2013

'Sedition' is a major fundraising exhibition of limited edition prints by some of Australia’s most exciting contemporary artists.

Curated by Drew Pettifer, Sedition will feature new works for sale by 20 emerging and established Australian artists Jessie Bullivant, Lane Cormick, Ross Coulter, Tony Garifalakis, Dara Gill, Irene Hanenbergh, Christopher LG Hill, Helen Johnson, Jess Johnson, Laresa Kosloff, Richard Lewer, Dane Lovett, Kate Meakin, Arlo Mountford, Simon Pericich, Tom Polo, Stuart Ringholt, Meredith Turnbull, Annie Wu, and William Yang. All works featured in the exhibition have been printed in an edition of 5, using a process nominated by the artist.

Sedition will take place at Bus Projects’ new gallery premises in Collingwood and is the inaugural event in Bus Projects’ annual fundraising campaign. All profits from sales go directly into providing greater resources to the artists, writers and curators who engage with the organisation’s programs. The exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for audiences to celebrate and support Melbourne’s contemporary art community.
