Tully Moore’s past work has depicted the crumbling urban world of graffiti, advertisements, brand-name clothing and old signage. More recently, Moore has continued to examine ideas of how we perceive ourselves and forge identity in relation to various forms of branding and insignia, and how these icons create motifs and suggest status or alignment with a group. Moore has exhibited at ARIs including Westspace, MOP Projects, Firstdraft and TCB as well as the National Gallery of Victoria. Moore was also the recipient of the John Vickery Scholarship and the Roger Kemp Memorial Prize in 2007 whilst studying at VCA and in 2011 was a recipient of the Australia Council Residency (Liverpool, UK). In 2013 Moore was awarded the Marten Bequest Scholarship for painting. Moore is currently undertaking his studio residency at Gertrude Contemporary, Melbourne. Moore completed his Honours in Fine Art at the VCA in 2008.
