Bus Projects is currently closed.

We will reopen in our new space at the Collingwood Arts Precinct with the ‘Housewarming’ event series starting on Thursday 13th February, 6pm. Our first exhibition opens on Tuesday 3rd March, 6–8pm, with a solo show by Moorina Bonini, and a curated exhibition by Bianca Winata with Yaya Sung and Eugenia Lim. Kate Meakin

Kate Meakin is Narrm/Melbourne-based artist. Recent exhibitions include draw nearer to the window, Knulps, 2018; inside voice harvester, Irene Rose Gallery, 2018; Before the sun rises, TCB Art inc, 2017; Posture Carriages, in collaboration with Adelle Mills, Gertrude Glasshouse, 2017; Recess presents, film screening at Green Papaya Art Projects, Manilla, Phillipines 2017; Howl Sounds Best In a Hole, Gertrude Contemporary – Studio 3, 2017; Endless Circulation: TarraWarra Biennale, TarraWarra Museum of Art, 2016; Time is somewhere else, in collaboration with HB Peace, Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art, 2016. She is a co-founder of video-art platform recess (recess.net.au), and was founder & facilitator of the exhibition space flake (flake-space.net) between 2013-2015.
